Master’s Message January 2017
I hope you all had a terrific and Merry Holiday season. Our last communication was an historic one! We had a packed house for dinner and for RW Gregory L. Stahl’s last official visit. It was a great evening of friendship and Brotherly Love. A terrific time of good cheer and great laughs, you missed a great evening if you were not in attendance.
We start off the New Year with degree work commencing on two new candidates. We will hold the Entered Apprentice degree on Saturday, January 7th at 11am and will have lunch between sections. This will give brethren the opportunity to come out to the Lodge that cannot travel at night or have work commitments during the week. We will also hold a Fellowcraft degree on January 28th at the same time of 11am with lunch between sections again. Please come out and support your newest members as they commence their travels toward light.
As of this writing, the Christmas tree sales are brisk and we look to be selling out again this year. I hope to report good results at the January communications with regards to the sales.
Please find enclosed the proposed bylaws change that needs to be discussed at this month’s communication. It is imperative that ALL brethren make it a point to come to this meeting so we can discuss our future as a Lodge, and to let your voice and opinions be heard. We will be taking a vote of the changes in the coming months. Stay tuned and BE involved.
In closing, it is hard to believe that there are just six months left in this Masonic year. We have made great strides in a short time, and I hope it continues into the months ahead. I would really like to see more Brethren come out and be active in the Lodge. I wish you all the best of luck and prosperity in the New Year. May the light of Masonry illuminate your path to greatness.
Wor. Micheal J. Leonard
