Under the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts, members can ask a friend or neighbor to join your lodge if you believe he will make a good Mason! However, he must first ask himself if he’s suitably prepared to enter the “gentle craft of Masonry”… to become a brother in the world’s most exclusive fraternal order.

Master’s Message April 2016

Posted by on Apr 18, 2016 in Master's Message

Greetings Brethren:

I want to thank the young men of Benjamin Franklin DeMolay for paying us a visit last month. They performed the DeMolay degree for the brethren. It was well received. We had a fruitful meeting, with some good conversation. Enclosed you will find the proposed changes to our dues structure, to try and solidify our future. We need to do this to be able to pay rent to the trustees. Please make it a point to come to the meeting this month so your voice can be heard. We will vote on this in May. We will again be exemplifying our work on the second degree, as we have no candidates.

Please be sure to communicate to your friends and family about our lodge smoker for this year. It will be held on June 18, 2016 at the lodge. We will be offering food only tickets for $30 and the normal cigar/food tickets for $75. The smoker supports our scholarship fund as well as the lodge. For information, please contact Bro. Bert Aggas.

As this Masonic year is slowly coming to a close, we need to start thinking of next year. Please let me know what your desires of office next year may be. I will be putting together the nominating committee and they will need to know who is interested in what offices for the upcoming year. Also, if there are any brethren interested in being a trustee for the building association, please let me know as there are two vacant seats this year.

Lastly, we have a very important event this month, our MyChip event being held at the lodge. We will be providing free identification packets to parents that bring their children in. This is a community event open to the public, so please pass the word along. We will utilize this opportunity to provide information about Trinity Lodge and give tours to parents. Information has been given out around town. If you need fliers or information please contact the Worshipful Master.

“Believe you can and you are half way there.” Theodore Roosevelt

Fraternally,

Wor. Micheal J. Leonard
